Are there any SFC2 mods to update screen resolution?

Howdy,

I have been searching the web for a mod that would allow me to play SFC2 in widescreen without stretching the images into oval/rectangle shapes. I have not seen any so far, can someone point me in the right direction?

Sorry, no such mod for any games in SFC series so far.  :(

I would be very grateful if any one can correct me on this.
