Our Facebook Q&A page is no longer up, but you can find our mods here: http://www.moddb.com/members/aldaja

If you have questions/comments please post on this thread or at our download page.  You will also find download links to our Starfleet Command II & III modding tool bundle and Jan_B's window fixes for the game.

Enjoy. :)

Updates added for Typhon Pact (was missing some ship library info and Species 8472 Planet Killer model missing/HP in wrong place - corrected).  Also included addendum .ini file to be used with Jan_B's Windows 10 fix for each of our mods.

Tar just released a SFC III mod of his own.  You can check it out here:

It's not even a beta. It's an experiment to establish a seeking weapon (Plasma Torpedo) and restrict warp boosting.

If you can get this weapons mod to work properly, keep me posted.  Would like to see if it could be used with our campaign mods.

I think we can approximate seeking weapons. I just sank a Federation battlecruiser with my Hawk's slow green plasma torps. It was nostalgic and satisfying.

Making attenuated seekers will be a challenge. The endurance variables do apply, but the damage is likely determined seconds or even a minute before the torpedo strikes its target. The damage allocation, however, occurs on contact.  Non-degrading warheads are a useful first step.

If you include DamageInfo=1 under the [debug] section of sfc.ini, msDamage.txt will record every weapon volley, even against shields. An odd quirk is that all weapons do 150 damage to shuttles. This file can be reloaded during gameplay to act as a less user-friendly VollyInfo. (We could have used this tool 15 years ago, Marcus Smythe. Would have saved us dozens of hours.)
