Centauri Vaugn's TNG Missions with a TMP twist...
« on: June 08, 2003, 02:31:08 pm »
OK, I admit it. I wasn't bright enough to download the model pack Centauri Vaugn once included with his TNG missions.

Anybody have a link where they might be hosted?

If I had the programming skills I'd simply replace the Dominion/Jem Hadar with the ISC and the Borg with Andromedans.
Since I don't,  I am doing a 1:1 conversion of TNG models to TMP ones using what is listed in CV's TNG shiplist. CV wrote some really great TNG missions and apparently didn't have the time to make generic versions where you could use STOCK TMP models vs. Custom TNG ones.  BTW: I am using NON-CANON TMP models for this mini-project and will use Klingon Academy Tholians instead of Cardassians...

Highlight's include Ganymad's retexture of Moonraker's FBCH as the Galaxy Class,  and Lt. Kevin Riley/Fabio/Makatokat's Loknar Refit USS Phobos as the Defiant. I'm still on a quest for an uber- detailed Melak for CV's TOMMORROW'S ENTERPRISE mission....

I am substituting a number of stock SFC:OP planets [Qo Nos, Romulus, etc.] and substituting them with SFC3 ones. Also, the SFC3 Space mod seems to help give more space for models. For example, CV's INTO THE DOMINION mission had an asteroid too close to a [SFC3] planet ALWAYS blowing up. Now it doesn't now that I'm using the SFC3 space folder.

Qapla!
