Disabling Probes in SFC3 via the Scripts

I'm getting a lot of complaints, from players on my server, about Probes being too good at detecting Cloaked ships. I've tested this myself, and it is a definite problem. You can only cloak when you are well out of range of anything, and even then if you don't go to warp, there is a good chance you'll be picked up. So I want to completely disable probes during PvP battles, the problem is that I haven't had any luck. I've tried setting the healty of the Probe system to 0, but that had no effect, presuming I was doing it correctly, I'm not 100% sure. Making the Probe charge much slower might be enough, but I'd prefer to completely disable it, then Cloaking - and Anti-Cloak - will become useful again. Most players just use a low end cloak and use the extra mass for armour.
