UFP-KE Union Fleet: IKS Azel'Atolm'Cha Mark I  Fed/Klink Hybrid

Post-Dominion War, the Federation and Klingon Empire
formally created a joint starship building program for
a "Joint Defense Fleet".

The Fed/Klink Hybrid starships thus produced would
be used by both the the Feds and Klingons Fleets,
just in case the Dominion got "trigger-happy" once more.

This starship is special to me,
Its the closest kitbash that I've been able to do
that is close to Atolms first Fed/Klink Hybrid Prototype that he let me try,

Now I've got to map the Materials (textures),
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah,

Atolm came up with the inspiring design,
Pneumonic 81 the USS Enterprise-D saucer,
Azel/Atolm the IKS Bora'th Midship,

I just "kitbashed" 'em together,
Its my favourite mesh now,
They fitted together like "glove-in-hand",

Moi,
I'm the "heretic" wielder!

Now I've got to go through the chapter on applying Materials (textures),
and creating textures in Abobe Photoshop 6,

What a unique but stable design! I have often been leery of Fed/Klink hybrid ships... I just couldn't see how anyone could make such completely different canons stick together with any amount of cohesion, you know?
You have really done it, though. That is an excellent, weird design! Looks great- keep us posted please!!!!!

Learning to kitbash can be quite painstaking indeed,

Azel (Atolm) should get all the credit though,
He came up with the idea,

Atolms' Original Fed/Klink Hybrid Prototype


Ever since then I've been obsessed with Fed/Klink Hybrids of the
"Joint Defense Fleet" of the Feds and Klingons,

Now to apply the Materials (textures),
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Atolm has ben putting out instant favorites of mine since he began- you obviously have your own unique trademark touch as well... in field such as this, with so many variations of the same theme the name of the game, actually being unique is something extrodinary unto itself.

The last I heard from AgentSloan was in February. He had mentioned he was having some real life issues, so that could be why he hasn't been around these last few months. I hope he's had a chance at working on applying textures because he has a few cool kitbashes that needed some paint.
