Would it be possible to rewrite the asteroid base mission to use race-specific bases? The Feds have their own AB, and in the neutral section of the shiplist there are AB's with different armaments. And it would be easy to add AB's to the other races anyway. Yet the AB in the mission is always the same, regardless of race or alignment.
On a similar note, would it be possible to rewrite the investigation patrol mission to use specific "wreck" ships. I got to thinking about this when I was looking at Atheorhaven's Constellation. Entries would have to be made in the shiplist, like F-W (for wreck) or F-WCA, but could one make the mission only pull up wrecked ships?
I don't know anything about scripting, but this is just a suggestion in case any clever people who can write missions are bored or interested enough to do it.
