Aye, I believe Azel has designed around 12 or 13 to my knowledge.... there's the magic number, not that it had any real bearing on the thread's original subject in the first place

Re: the Scimitar vs D'Deridex sizes: the 1041m for the D'Deridexwas an erroneous entry in one of the DS9 tech manuals. The more commonly accepted size is roughly 1200m long by 970m beam... making her roughly the same size as the Scimitar. Head-on, the Scimitar appears more imposing, since she's built wide...

I'm honoured! I still have a few ships to finish off for Romulan Dawn (for Klingon Academy), and I anticipate having a few contracts to slow me down somewhere in there, so I'm not sure when I'd even be able to start...

I've been pondering a side project to sink my teeth into after that. I should probably muck around with a mesh for it. Worse comes to worse, I could convert the lwo to max and hand it along to someone here...

Can I attempt to build this thing for my Star Trek Armada Future Tense MOD as we have the canon Noxerian  and the Kerchan (hobbes) and several of my own designs pictures are illustrated below, may I attempt to add this brut to Future Tense (Full Credits will of course be applied to the Credits documentation included with the Tense Trilogy MOD (s) )


Perhaps a "swap"



Ship names are from Left - Right


(All Models are made by myself (Mesh and Textures) Designs Credits are applied)
Noxerian, D'Deraxian, 'DeathStinger' (Noxerian by Paramount Pictures, Others Designed by Phantom)

'Hunter', D'Xvalian (Designs by Phantom)

Kerchan Warbird (Kerchan Design by Hobbes)



There are a few more from Demon Renegade Studios but that is Mesh only at the moment and there are a few that needs coding up with Hardpoints and stuff






Let me know as I'd love to try and build her

I think i speak for a hand full of us Model Junkies Here when i say if you make this ship remember you must port it to SFC straight away as there will be alot of unhappy chappies here who would love to have it but cant port it.
secondly i know Mp will ask this so im getting here first will the D'Xvalian and the Kerchan be ported over to SFC or do we have to star begging

That would be one of the stipulations, I would have to build it for Klingon Academy (the only modding I know), but I wouldn't even have to complete the mod itself before handing it over to someone for conversion, since they'd just need the textured model itself...

yeah if you hand over a fully textured ms3ds file to me i can do the porting which is no problem for me

I'll need Hobbes permission before making a SFC1/2/3 version of the Kerchan, the D'valian I can do but I dont like handing out meshes so I'll have to ask a friend to send over an Activision SFC3 models where I can import and use it's heirarchy for SFC and replace the Armada SOD format to SFC MOD format

All my Romulan ships are self Designed (Except the Kerchan and the Noxerian) These are Armada Sods though - does anyone have a link to a crash course in SFC3 coding via Milkshape MS3D? and I'll code these Romulan vessels up. Who knows maybe I'll do my Scimitar and Scorpion models too since they and Activisions are the only ones in existance (to my knowledge but I havent seen ne one else doing a Scimi other than Activision who got it way off from the film as they had no bottom detail lol) besides my wings move so (blows rasberries to Activision) lol


Will be werid since Im gonna mod a game I dont even have lmao


Have to pop onto Ebay I think n see if I can get a copy as the local computer shop's only Star Trek Game they sell is Elite Force 2 and Shattered Universe for the XBox :/

The Kerchan I have was done by Anduril.The Noxerian (valdore) I have was done by Dawn. I look forward to your releases Phantom sir.

Yeah Dawn's Noxerian is nice, but it was made out of the CGI image of the top. My 3 were all different, 1 was the concept Valdore, 1 was made with the same pictures, and the third has the stardrive and the duel layer wings with impulse engines seen in Nemesis The Scimitar I also have 3, one concept, 1 built from the CGI images and 1 from the film as I released a Nemesis pack for Star Trek Armada Consisting of: Scimitar, Noxerian, Enterprise-E, Argo and the Nemesis Repair yards (I even made the Romulan Senate, but that is for the start up film for the MOD and wasnt released lol - although it would be interesting to see the senate flying at warp speed - hmmmm lol) I'll see if I can get SFC3, and go over some tutorials and start converting and creating the ships,

Are there poly limits? The Noxerian is like just under 1000, the Scimitar is just over 2000 the Romulan ship that has caught your eye is possibly around 800-1000 I'll have to check for certain

Who knows lol

Phantom. I think I can answer this question about poly counts. I've seen alot of variation. The Blitzkreig Class is around 800 polys (and someones actually ported over my Aero Shuttle (my first release, not the better, retextured version), which is around 900 polys. I've also seen models up to about 12k (I think theres a sovereign model which is about this), and my Chimera Class is around 8.5k in polys. so its a huge variation that you could use.
