A SETI request
« on: June 27, 2004, 07:12:03 am »
Would somebody be willing to recompile the seti client and or BOINC so it can run as a service? I have no idea what I am asking for, just that I know I need it to run on some of my computers.

Thanks

Bump       Anybody? This isn't just for me, other members of the team will need this as they make the switch to the BOINC client.

What platform?  I could compile one for Linux or Windoze.  I wouldn't  know where to begin for a caching client, however.

BOINC sux.  Always down or flacky thus far...

So far I have 3 machines running W2K SP2 that I need as a service. I may also get 1 or 2 XP machines as well. I might wait until we can figure out the caching as well.  I am leaving for Maine tomorrow PM and will not be back until the 12th.l
