@#$%^&*( Ventrilo!!   I can't get logged on to it.  Keep getting:  Unable to activate DirectSound for the selected device.  DirectSoundCaptureCreate failed, hr = 88780078

Won't even let me set the dadgummed thing up like I used to have.

Try reinstalling DirectX 9.0c from the Microsoft DirectX web site.

Okee.  Got my new system that runs like  a scalded cat in a dog pound.  Now for my next question, and please, remember that I am really stupid on computers -  how can I set up multiple user accounts on Ventrilo, so when I am not on it one of my boys can be?

NPR is a lot like NASCAR.  Two hundred miles an hour in a circle, and you end up right back where you started with nothing but lost time for the effort.

I believe you simply add a new name to the opening box. After that, click on the drop-down arrow and select the name you want to use for that session.
Never actually tried that, tho... Wink

JD's VT server is down, I sent an email to him about it, but no response yet and it's been a few days.
For now, we'll have to use the Dnet TS.
