Can the "M-INT"/Juggernaught missions be simply changed to "M-DML" missions?
« on: October 19, 2004, 09:18:12 pm »

Here's a thought about more DOOMSDAY machine scenarios I had while re-reading the Tracey G. Doomsday Machine script post.

Can the INTRUDER/JUGGERNAUGHT Mission and the BONUS SFC:OP pirate mission that also uses the M-INT be rewritten simply by changing the SCRIPT references from "M-INT" to "M-DML" ? naturally, I would think that the Doomsday machine would work better with Maulers than either TRBs or PPDs and should be armed to the teeth against shuttles/fighters. It is my understanding that the outfitting of the planet killer could be done in the shiplist file.

Imagine the Iotians stumbling on a doomsday machine or the Juggernaught being replaced by the Doomsday machine!

One other thing, if you switch the word SPECIAL to MONSTER in the shiplist, the planetkiller [maw effects and all] can appear in the multiplayer MONSTER script.
