It would absolutely make a great fighter for the games but I don't know of anything out there that I could use to try and bash it. I think it needs to be completely modeled and I can't do that.

Description

The States PT/Troop Cruiser is the first operational troop missile cruiser in Starfleet. These unique vessels have gained the respect and admiration of their crews because of their handling characteristics and offensive capabilities. The overall design came from Terran MACOS Engineering design teams to create a cruiser with photon torpedoes as its main weapons. And the main military troops number to 160. And it is first ship in starfleet to have holodeck for troop. Plus it has the only two transporters that has 80 pods each.

The teams took the old Starstalker Class secondary hull spaceframe, and Constitution II Class primary hull. These ships have so captured the heart and spirit of the Terra that the majority are crewed solely by them. All have been named for all States of Terra. The States class forms the core of all squadrons in the famed 'Beta Terra Fleet', and is an integral part of front line troop cruisers forces for Star Fleet.

The warp engines are mounted like the Starstalker Class and with Excelsior warp engines . As with all Starfleet vessels, the engines can be jettisoned in case of an overload in the matter/anti-matter chamber.

The States PT/Troop Cruisers saw great use in battles against the Klingon, Tholian, Breen and Romulan empires. The ability to saturate a target with photon torpedo fire proved an excellent way to cripple targets at range, making all the strongest cruisers and the fast transporte assault troops sufficiently so skirmish units could finish the job.

Expanding my Ships of the Star Fleet stable
« Reply #257 on: January 19, 2006, 01:54:56 pm »
Hi all.

I have a few ships I'd like to add to my collection, mainly Fed, from the Ships of the Starfleet manual. I already have a few very basic models of some of these ships, but I want better ones, as well as looking for the others I don't have.
If you know where good, hi-res/hi-detail models of these already exist, please let me know. If not, could someone please build them for me?

Pretty please with cherries'n'stuff?

I'm mainly looking for the heavy carriers, so here they are:

The Classic/TMP Era
Ariel-class Supercarrier (CVA):

Fredrikstad-class Space Control Ship (SCS):

Thanks for the reply, MP.

Endurance-class Light Exploratory Cruiser (NSC): It's a Miranda

I know that, MP, but I want it because it's an exploratory version with a differently-shaped sensor pod instead of a photon pod, and sensor emplacements on the warp nacelles. I think it makes a better NSC than the Soyuz-class - which I have as a Border Cutter/Coast Guard-type ship.

As for the rest of them that you've never seen, could I commission one of our shipyards here to contruct them for massive amounts of gratitude?

As for the rest of the classes:

The Ariel/Frederikstad class is an upsized and improved-layout 'Star Trek - Phase II' study model, the original of which was probably seen in the 'TNG:BoBW' graveyard scene.

Daran and Knox classes don't have searchable entries in Battleclinic.

I have Atrahasis' Oriskany and it's nice. I have someone else's TOS Coronado, and I'd like a better one.

What's the address for Mackie's site? (And who is he?)

I know the Avenger is the Miranda, just looking for one with the larger-style photon pod rather than the really flat pod.

I laso have all the Excelsior packs from Battleclinic, including one called "Leavenworth", but I'm wanting an Excelsior-style light cruiser with some kind of small secondary hull or extended saucer, as all the others have just the saucer and engines.

And do not talk to me about that travesty they call the USS Centaur. That is sooooo obviously a Miranda Photon pod it's not funny.
Could someone maybe remake that with a more appropriate secondary superstructure that isn't just pylons?

Waiting with baited breath...
