Where is everybody?
« on: February 22, 2005, 06:30:21 pm »
Sheesh, I pop my head up from oblivion for the first time in a year or so, and everybody disappears... I don't smell bad, do I?  :D

Seriously though, where is everybody? La'ra, Kadh, Andy, Smithy, Jaeih, any other authors or would be authors whose names I have omitted, come on, let's go with the writing! Otherwise I'm going to have to post some of my old and as yet unedited stuff on here just so there's some new material on the boards. And trust me, we don't want me to have to do that, 'cuz most of it sucks.

And anyone who thinks of calling me a hypocrite, since I haven't posted a story in ages, well... you can just shaddup now.  :P ;D Just kidding. I'm working on new stuff now, that hopefully won't be crap. I don't know when the first part will be ready though, my partner and I will work on that.

As for the rest of you.... get cracking!  :)

Well, ya' see, we go in kind of a rotation, right? And since you and S'Tasik showed back up, we put you into the rotation, but you haven't wrote anything, so we were waiting on you.

*shifts his eyes back and forth suspiciously*
"Dialogue from a play, Hamlet to Horatio: 'There are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy.' Dialogue from a play written long before men took to the sky. There are more things in heaven and earth, and in the sky, than perhaps can be dreamt of. And somewhere in between heaven, the sky, the earth, lies the Twilight Zone."

LOL

Well... *looks back and forth guiltily* I'm working on it. Really, I am. I promise....

Heck, if all else fails, I might just write a quick short to get myself back into the swing of things before I get into any really big projects. We'll see how much time I have, hopefully iI can post a little something for everyone.

Funny you should mention that we need to post more ....

Welcome back, by the way.

Some stuff is being archived and posted here: http://starbase23.net/

Thanks, Kadh. Yeah, I know, I'm really one to talk about posting habits, right? Heh, well, I'm in college now and have more down time, which means more and better writing. Better yet, I think I've rediscovered the motivation I had a couple of years ago when I was turning out a new part of a story or two on average every week. Bah, who needs studying, I pick up stuff quickly enough anyway. :D

I've actually been to Starbase 23 and read pretty much everything Andy's got archived there, most of which is stuff I'd read already. Andy, if you're out there, start putting more stories on your site!

actually I meant that I was posting a chapter tonight, but you replied too quickly.  It'll be up in about half an hour or so.

I think part of the reason a lot of people don't post here is because for some reason, the italics code adds an extra space to the end of the sentence...

Okay, that's one of the reasons I don't post here.

Yeeeeaaaaa.  I'm in San Diego, y'all, having Andy archive my stuff on his site until I can get off my lazy butt and start back up with the writing.  Have plunked a little, but not much.  Wil get around to it someday.  Take care y'all, and I will return.

Even she must quirk an eyebrow and smirk just a little bit when reading a really good Rihannsu death scene.

Heh...

If she ever reappears, there'll be some serious bloodletting for sure--and it won't be the green that's leaking...

I hope she does make an appearance.  I miss seeing her stories when I get a chance to poke my head in.

Here's a historical note that reminded me of another missing poster.

On this date in history in 1671: Thomas "Captain" Blood stole the crown jewels from the Tower of London.

I added the bold typefont around CB.

Thank you, Centurion, for that appropriate introduction. *quirks eyebrow*
