Ok guys your probably wondering what outalance has been doing as a group, well the answer to that is not much but a few of us have been hard at work making these:
The models are made by Wulf the rest of the fleet will be made by adonis, antyvirus and wulf (so keep your eyes open for them)
The textures are mine and lightmaps are a colaberation betweet wulf and myself as an experiment to make a SFC3 bumpmap
The better renders are made by Adonis while the crappy ones are mine
Both of theses ships are carriers,
The single ringed version is the Tal'vec which is the super commnad carrier and her own fleet. (72 fighters)
The dual ringed version is the Sal'vec which is the standard carrier and slightly smaller. (60 Fighters)
Both models are longer than the Galaxy class
These are the first ships in a whole fleet that was a Radical Advanced Prototype War Fleet, Comissioned By the Radicaly Advanced Prototype Design Council (RAPDC) made for the Dominion war, Work carriered on with the ships after the war just incase Starfleet encountered another hostile race and couldnt build enough ships in time to counter the threat.
The prototype Fleet was completed a year later and put though the best testing possible. The ships past the tests but only when in groups of 3 or more, the ships designers built a computer network that linked the ships incase the crew of one of the ships was imcompasitated. It also had the benifit of allowing more difficult situations to be dealt with easy like close quaters assult, the fighter collisions decreased by 20% as did landing of damaged ships.
Both the carriers have a unique function that allows the "Fighter Hub" to detach and move away sightly so another larger ship i.e. a Destroyer or another carrier, could dock and effect repairs that could only be done in a Drydock. It also allowed a secondary "Fighter Hub" or other unit to be carriered by Frieghters (when out in deep space as a single fleet) for replacement or stratigic placement.
The fleet will include:
2 Types of Fighter (light and heavy)
5 Freighter: T'Shlem Class (comes in various options: No pod, Fighter Hub, Refueling Pod, Weapon Pod, Sensor Pod and All pods carried at once)
2 Frigates (light and heavy):
1 Destroyer:
2 Light Cruisers:
2 Heavy Cruisers:
1 Dreadnought:
1 Carrier: Sal'vec Class
1 Super Command Carrier: Tal'vec Class (kinda like WZ's Diamond Star)
