It won't accept the 9 version (D3DX9Math is invalid version), unless ya have a remedy could someone direct me to 8?

Nope, just 9.0c..... they do have small add-on kits for it though.

What do ya know! I just found that I do have a CD of the DX8.1 SDK. Its a little over 90 MB's if you got an e-mail address i could send it too you.

I have built stock OP scripts on the latest DXSDK.
But if I recall correctly a stock script will compile just fine without the DirectX SDK. Pretty sure DirectX is not required unless you are doing some funky stuff in your script code.
SFC3 may be different however...

I have not attempted the SFC3 API with the latest Dx SDK... I hate "wasting" time and if the 9.0sdk is not working, I suspect that the new Dx v10 will not either (?). It seems that everything else with SFC3 needs the old software...
