The potential results of violating an IP

I debated whether to post this here or in the Open Source forum. I decided on this forum on a whim. The following link addresses indirectly the question of why those who have the SFC code--but are not IP holders of the code--have not released this 4 year old code base.

Read the following link. The article addresses the potential ramifications and brings to light just how much potential trouble could be brought to bear upon anyone who dares to release the code. I have been told that they have been made aware of that possibility.

It is a 3 page read, but well worth the information it offers and entertaining to boot.
