Teamspeak issues
« on: August 11, 2005, 01:21:46 pm »
No matter what I do I get echoes with reverb on any teampeak install I use now, (three different PCs on three different connections). I never used to have this problem, say a year ago...  It sounds very psychedelic and funky but I don't want that now, just clear voice comms... no, its not simple feedback, happens even with a headset... Has MS messed with the basic audio codecs? Is reverb on all the time now?  These three trials are all on soundblaster full duplex cards - all EAX effects off, 3-d surround effects disabled...    Any ideas?

On some of the older Creative cards you could set duplex to off. I remember having this problem with TS or Roger Wilco way back in the day and it finally boiled down to a sound card setting.
