whats up with dynaverse
« on: January 02, 2006, 01:34:31 pm »
Hello all, I still cannot get on dynaverse. this is what I have done. Removed game/and reinstalled game.I installed patch 534b. I did not install gamespy/direct 8. I have direct x 9 because I play Doom 3. I did the ip adresses like the readme told me. I put in the 192.168.1 then tried 192.168.1. then tried 192.168.1.1 because these are the numbers I'v seen in the help me forum. Now none of these numbers are my ip adress for my computor. I do not have a router. When I try to connect to multiplayer I have my firewall disabled,I just get a message trying to connect. Is there a certain time I have to log on or is dynaverse 24/7. Please help . thank you TomSawyer :-\

It is possible that the D3 access server is down. I cannot confirm this because I do not play SFC3. Perhaps some other players can.

Have you followed the instructions in this post?:
http://www.dynaverse.net/forum/index.php/topic,163344600.msg1122438939.html#msg1122438939

(note that 192.168.1.x are private IP addresses and will not work, use your public IP address your ISP has assigned to you - the one you posted which I removed from your post)

The D3 should be 24/7 if the access server is indeed up.

Please note that Activision is responsible for the D3 access server.
