Does this mean I have to go through the entire installation process for OP 4.0+?  Or is there some simpler way of putting the shiplist back into proper order?

I just deleted the KCW shiplist, ran the uninstaller for OP+ (since it tells you it's already installed) , then re-ran the installer for OP+...
Took 5 min...worked fine...

Are  you talking from the disk itself or from a file in the game?

How do you delete a shiplist ?? All I did was run 'modchooser' and changed back to OP+ shiplist and I was back on the forge in less than 1 minute. I just don't know how to permanently delete it from my drive.

Well, first of all, I had made a seperate folder for different shiplists within my specs folder.
Right click on your OP icon, go to properties, find target...
then to assets, specs...there you'll find the shiplist and fighterlist.

simply uninstall any KCW installers, uninstall 4.0, re-install 4.0   Worked fine for some of us as we went to test in on GSA right after, and all was fine.
