It's a good fan-made series.

"The world of Hidden Frontier is the late 29th century. Mankind has spread among the stars, expanding its territory beyond imagination. Most worlds belong to the Stellar Confederation, an Union of Worlds led by the Solar planets Earth, Mars and Jupiter.
But since the very beginning of human spacefare people strived for independance and so the borders seem at constant war as the centralistic Confederation has never accepted any opposition to ensure stability and peace for all. Yet, several worlds have escaped its grasp and the SC seeks nothing more than to unite all colonized planets under its reign.
In the year 2852 none except the SC knew that a new frontier was emerging at the edge of known space, an unknown frontier, a hidden frontier..."
Individuality is irrelevant. Self-determination is irrelevant. Negotiation is irrelevant.
Termination is inevitable. Assimilation is inevitable. The End is inevitable.
Fun is illogical. Confort is illogical. Recreation is illogical.
The Standard is inefficient. Peace is inefficient. Diplomacy is inefficient.
Emotion is a design flaw. The Reality is Unreal. The Truth is classified.

Holy crap, what happened to the federation's tech?  It's all Macross looking in this HF.  Way less advanced than the 29th century tech we saw in "Relativity".  Perhaps this takes place in an alternate universe after some cataclysm?

Plus there's already a series called Hidden Frontier, that takes place in the Briar Patch.

If that's the case, Ensign Alchemist, I should nickname this HF "The Times of the Confederation".
If the Future of Star Trek is about the change of everything....

...then I will NEVER be the same old NCC-1701-V!
