Now, I wont hide it, I would like to advertise, to let you know about
TrekNews.Net. This is not an attempt to subvert a site's news generating potential, but to
enhance it.
The theory behind the site is that anyone can login and then post news. It is that simple. Your story is not the entire story that you want to advertise, but a snippet, and a link. The snippet gets the reader inticed, and the link goes back to whatever site generated the news.
Once that news article is posted, it is up to the community to decide what stories are newsworthy of the front page. If you do think a story is newsworthy, you 'Trek' it. You can also see the stories that have not been Trekked enough to reach the front page. The good thing is that it is not just about Star Trek: Online, or even Star Trek Gaming. It is about all things Star Trek.
