I can't tell you how thrilled I am to see this game is still alive and well in your hands. It's been a long time since I had anything to do with it, and after three iterations all things Trek make my head hurt, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't hold a special place in my heart for this series.

Cool! When the bounty gets up to around a hundred K or so we'll work out some kind of scheme.

So what do you think of Legacy, or at least what you've seen of it so far? I know a lot of people freaked out when they mentioned a 360 version but I dunno, it looks like it has some promise.

Hmmmmm...it looks beautiful....not a big fan of 360 combat...jury is out until release...

It will definately appeal to part of the trek market...and probably other gamers as well...

I'm actually following Tactical Assault much more closely...Quicksilver is doing it for bethesda....yes it's on a hand held....but the potential to get another SFC or SFC lite type game for the PC is pretty good...

TA got pretty good reviews at E3 I heard...

I'm thinking SFC4 : Strategic Assault...has a nice ring to it...

Take the ADB license into F&E since Steve is now developing Federation commander....

I've pinged a couple of quick silver devs....and even Steve cole about it...

No one has said that such a proposal was out of the question.....

Speaking of which....well sorta.....what are the odds....in millions to one....that we might see another CK script or two? *nudge nudge...wink wink*

Are you kidding? Not only have I seen the Holy Grail of Balance, I saved a copy to my hard drive in case it ever fell off the net. One thing I never understood though: the initials 'HS' on the ship that I --- err, I mean the Black Dreadnought -- was fighting... what do they mean?

Coincidentally, last weekend I was hanging out with Ken Yeast and Mike Todorovic, whose names you might recognize from the credits. You'll be happy to know they're doing just fine, still in the business and working on some exciting stuff. Josh (Jinxx) is also doing fine, he's in board & card games now. I'm not sure about anyone else from the SFC team; I lost contact with most of them and I have no idea what they're up to. As for myself, I've been Director of Gameplay Programming at Shiny since a couple weeks after Taldren folded (the first time). It keeps me pretty busy, which is another reason I don't exactly drool over the idea of writing code in my off hours. But hey, never say never.

I hear there's some gaming afoot. I might just have to peek in one of these days.

if i remeber correctly.. the "HS" stands for hawkeye stoneyface, since i was flying rom mostly back then... so you err...the black dreadnought is kicking my ass right into a convenient asteroid. :)

Yeah, there are still a few of us lurking around here.  I have not touched any SFC stuff in quite a while and Remus has been out of touch for a while now.

I still see P81 and Magnum Man pop up on icq on a regular basis.  I think P81 is doing models for the Star Wars Galaxies game.  David Ferril and I have run across each other a couple of times.  He is in Missouri someplace now.

I no longer work in electronics.  I am a certified watchmaker now.  Been doing that for a little over 3 years now.  You would be suprised at all the ways I have seen folks destroy a watch.
