have you all seen this site?

http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Portal:Main

seems to be a great reference site. it claims it wants to be the most comprehensive trek site on the web.

time will tell i guess. so far it seems pretty good!

Oh hell. I'm sorry. You didn't know about this? Us Fan Fic authors use it all the time. It is a superb site, collecting only canon information. Backstage material is referenced there. Think of it as the Star Trek Omnipedia to the n-th. It has tons of excellent ship pics, and lets you know (if they know) the backstage sources for everything. If it is generally accepted what a ship is but there's no on-screen or back stage reference for it, they'll tell you.

This is a brilliant site, everyone should use it. It's completely replaced my Star Trek Encyclopaedia as my main reference source.

There is also a non-canon Wiki for licensed products such as the novels, comics, games and sourcebooks. Basically, anything that Paramount (or whoever owns it at the time) authorised, you'll find this data being slowly assembled there at Memory Beta. It's a lot younger than the canon site--Memory Alpha--but its growing. You can find it here:
