Hello All,

I am new to SC3 and was trying to work out if you can get it to connect to a dynaverse server directly without going through gamespy or central server matching. Mainly i want to run a LAN server and do some mod testing.

Anyone know if there are command line parameters or something similar that will allow to connect to an IP or DNS record?

I think this would also be pretty important if the central servers are eventually brought down.

there are a few ways, but they are very sketchy and their reliability is very poor

sketchy and unreliable is something to work from.

if you've got some up your sleeve jeffknight, put them on paper. gives everyone else something to work with while we're working on 'diplomacy'.
