while pine is a relatively unknown new actor, he at least looks a little like kirk and won't have any preconceived ideas about him like matt damon would have. i guess we will just have to see how he does. good luck buddy, you have some fanatics watching you and they don't give praise easily.

Actually not a bad choice. Interesting to note that the age difference between him and Quinto is almost the same as the difference between Kirk and Spock and in the same way.

scotty will be played by simon pegg!!! whoo hoo! gotta love that. simon pegg was in shaun of the dead and hot fuzz. personally i love him as an actor and i think he can pull off scotty's wit and humor. good choice!
