tried to fire up a server kit today, but it says it cant find the central servers.  Do I set them the same as the OP game, the kit has them set to the sfc2.east, west, and central yet (just downloaded a fresh serverkit from the download area figured it would be set up right, but guess not quite).

well, last try.  I try and run the server  kit and I get a error.  "cannot find directoiry server" or something like that, it flashes on and off quite quickly.  Any idea on how to fix this (no firewall, no router)

Well, thanks for at least a reply.   Figure I might as well, not even try to get one up any more.  over 6 months ago request for server board access (probably could get most of my answers looking back at the topics), and then many of the questions I have I get a "god, you don't know that" kind of an answer.  I do have to admit a few people have been wonderfull in trying to help me out.

So back to the depths I shall sink.

Well, should have somekind of the flat file up this weekend.  Then will work on the SQL and modifing the gf files (still working out what needs to be changed to make it work the way I want). Then need to locate the OCI material (I am not a webbie so would be hard for me to do that right now, but I have a few addition to the OCI I would like to try out)

Have to transfer my map from one machine to the server computer.

Going to have to push that to sunday, my son is taking all the wired computers to a lan party this weekend so will not have a server to run on.    But I shall put up one on sunday, yeah, sunday, that's the ticket.

hmmmm, something is still amis, the chat channels don't work.  Now to get the rest of the settings done and then work on a full fed and empire map (minus the tholians)
