Yes, the access servers are down for both SFC3 and EAW/OP. I'll let Frey know ASAP.

It will be going up and down while the hardware configurations are finalized and optomized. This should be all finished within the day or so hopefully. :)

Hi,
Can someone please confirm when the access servers are up, many thanks.

I am trying to reconfigure my router to allow other players to see my new campaign servers. I cant change things if I don't know if the change has stopped me accessing the server.  :D

Hmmm... I have not connected to the D3 since the year SFC3 was released. I'll give it a try.

What was the sfc.ini to get SFC3 to run without the CD? MakeItSo=1 ?

Yup, that waas the entry: http://www.dynaverse.net/forum/index.php/topic,163343032.0.html

But my copy of SFC3 is sitll asking for a CD, I can't be bothered to go digging though old boxes to find it... I suppose I'm missing the patch? How big is it? I'm on dial-up it could take me a day or so to download it...

Um, what's the standard patch in use for SFC3 these days? 534? 534B? I can get either of those downloaded in a few hours...

Well, I'll just try 534B, it will take about 4 hours to download. I'll let you know what I get once I get it installed.

Currently the access server is down. I'll get with Frey tonight to see what timeline were working with till everything is stable and back up from the upgrades. :)

Thanks SFHQ! I'll pause that download and resume it later should I ever need it.  (I just tried a D2 login to check, no go either.)

Search the moderator forums for notes I'd made in the past about the configurations for the D2 directory server. There may be configuration changes required if IP addresses or ethernet adapters have changed.  I don't recall the details. I might have notes on it here somewhere...

Talked with Frey, the directory services should be back up. I verified I was able to log into D2, so it should be OK now :)

Hello,
The servers are up, I have been fiddling with my new router.
Gonna launch a test server, can you please tell me 2 things:

1. Can you see the server?
2. If you can do get the incompatible errors, e.g. DefaultCore, loadout, etc?

Many Thanks,

Worfy ;D

Directory servers should be back up
