Forgive my ignorance, but what's DarWine?

The Darwine project intends to port and develop WINE as well as other supporting tools that will allow Darwin and Mac OS X/ppc users to run Windows Applications, and to provide a Win32 API compatibility at application source code level.

what ever it mean :)

Yup.

I remember somebody around here a few years ago was talking Wine on Unix. Don't remember who....

My stoopid e-machine died, and I want to try installing SFC on my new G5 iMac.
Parallels or Boot Camp would work, but that means buying Windows, and wasting huge disk space.

SFC2 installs fine.
However, Apple's X11 implementation is wanting (OpenGL support is buggy).
Looks like I'll have to go with xDarwin or x11.org's X11
More hackin' ta do....

Anyone messed with this before, please sing out.
