Imagine you are helping
« on: September 08, 2008, 10:45:06 am »
someone who has internet amnesia.

I have tried to get into Dynaverse3 several times. I have tried following all the fragmenty, not-so-organized directions I have found out there.

Tried logging w/ Zonealarm off

with ZA and all protections from DSL router disabled DMZ (picked up a homepage rerouter during that 2 hour period of time)

Manually entered address into SFC3 found from exterior of DSL.

Is there a step by step (like what to do 1st, 2nd etc) guide to making this work?

Have a computer with XP home SP3 and a DSL modem.

This program used to work when I bought 1st time, just paid $60 for new copy on EBAY after my nephew threw away my old copy (no more Xmas presents for him)
I do not understand some of the vague port opening instructions I see. What are the exact numbers? and where are they in Windows? ARG.

Please help. Thanks.

The pen is truly mightier than the sword.  And considerably easier to write with.

Port forwarding numbers are not in windows, they are in either your DSL modem config, or if you have a router, router GUI config panel under NAT.
