Members of the university's Technology-Enhanced Learning Research Group (TEL) are designing new learning environments using the interactive multi-touch desks, which look and act like a large version of an Apple iPhone.

After observing how students and teachers interact in classes, the team set about designing an interactive classroom solution called SynergyNet.

The aim is to achieve active student engagement and learning by sharing, problem-solving and creating.

The team has linked up with manufacturers to design software, and desks that recognize multiple touches on the desktop, using vision systems that can see infrared light.

SynergyNet will integrate ICT into the fabric of the classroom with the new multi-touch desks linked to a main smartboard and several students will be able to work together.

Its well known that:

a/ I have a very negative set of reactions to caffiene (which has caused me health issues for my entire life until last year when I gave up caffiene THEN discovered it was the source of my problems)

and

b/ Have a berserker temper which is why I avoid drugs such as alcohol that lower self control.

and

So, which shall it be then?  The oatmeal raisin cookies laced with prune juice, or the surplus Sherman tank with 5, 50 calibur, fully automated guns mounted on the top with 5k rounds each?

I did not know that.

Thats what they all say. 

Caffeine has some odd effects on me.  Makes me allergic to perfumes as well as cigar and pipe smoke, prone to headaches and eye strain and sunburns rather than tanning.  Without it I rarely get a head ache and when I do it typically lasts for minutes not hours or days, I don't seem to sun burn at all and have greatly enhanced tolerance of heat and cold. 

Without the perfume allergy I haven't been sick beyond a couple of mild colds in over a year rather than "illnesses" (now I think they were sustained subliminal perfume effects) that used to hit me several times a year for a week or two at a time.

Other than causing my blood pressure to spike small amounts of caffeine don't seem to bother me.  But I do try to approach 0 intake.  1 glass of coke a day with a meal was enough to keep me mildly allergic to perfume etc and maintain the other symptoms at reduced level.  I initially thought it was just a change in the perfume formulas occurring as at different times my allergy had gotten better and worse that way before.  In retrospect its probably went up and down depending what I was drinking.

Is the tank fully functional or is it in need of renovation or in some way booby trapped?

No ammo for the main gun, all systems are working.  Needs gas and maybe a new set of treads.  And there are booby traps, but designed for anti-theft than anything.  I'll give you the command codes to reprogram or disable them if you wish.
