It seems like this is going to be the new Enterprise on Star Trek XI.It was revealed to me over at STG all I can say his here Klingons enjoy it.

Wasnt there some funky design in the old animated series, where they saw the ship and mentioned "oh thats the original heavy cruiser design?"  or something like that?

..they went to the "space bermuda triangle" or something?

Just sayin that maybe this is closer to canon than we might want to admit.

That was said by Scotty referring to a ship with warp core not a coil which in animanted seems to be a F-GSC.It looks the same as Kirks.

Funny, I remembered a different looking ship.  Of course its been 30 some years.

I googled that episode, now that you guys have refreshed my memory.

That GSC stuff was made up in the interim.

Back in the 70's, the reference was "hey that was the first ship with warp drive and vanished on her third voyage."

So I am sticking with "she was a really old Enterprise-type vessel."

Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.  ...and *real* klingons dont have big bumps on their foreheads either!
