The best aces were cheaters.  Hang out on top of the furball... wait for the inevitable straggler to pop out, low and slow... pounce.. kill.

..not that theres anything wrong with killing enemy.

..but if everyone did that, then no one would ever engage...something to think about.

I'm also on the look out for a nice Bearcat.   Already loaded the Corsair.    It's almost as forgiving as the B-17.   That explains why the Navy chose it for the carriers.

That's somewhat ironic as the early models of the Corsair were known as the "Gull-winged Ensign Killer".  Let me know if you run across a good P-61 Black Widow.

Last weekend I was in Reading, Pa @ The Mid-Atlantic World War II Air Show.   They actually had a P-61 on display that was in the process of being completely restored.

I think I know where I can find one.

BTW, at the show the air crews were offering to take the public on flights in a B-25 as well as a B-17.

Had I had an extra $450 bucks burning a hole in my pocket, I'd have hopped right into the co-pilots seat.

BTW, I should add that these planes also have very realistic flight strobes, lighted cabins and cockpits, and some come with landing lights.

Some of those planes are really squirrelly.   The jet fighters can be a bear.   Just getting the hang of the choppers.

Dont try it.  Helicopters are *impossible* to fly.

Helicoptopers do NOT fly.  5,000 parts get into formation and cruise along in the shape of a helicopter.  They do not create lift.  They're so ugly the earth just repeals them.

It's Flight Simulator X Deluxe Edition.    There is also the Gold Edition.

It comes loaded with plenty of civil aircraft.
