OP Shipyard Mission ...
« on: December 30, 2009, 08:32:31 pm »

Question:   After knocking out your enemy, you must "recharge" your ship at the shipyard.   How is that done?

I tried lowering the shields.  Using the scanners. The probe. I'm still scratching my head.  The game has been patched.

I'm thinking there must still be a bug somewhere.

The mission is bugged.  I've read somewhere that you could "recharge" by using mines (and running over them) to knock down a shield and steal a part w/ transporters, but it never worked for me.

You have to slowly pass through the shipyard... center the ship to go through the exact center, stop it in ths SY, then come out... ;)

Hmmm ...... did all that with the excepting of exiting the shipyard.   I even lowered the shields.

If that mission comes up again I'll report the results.

Thanks fellas.

I like having this mission in, despite its bugs.  It allows you to take some really beautiful screenshots of your ship in dry dock, since the mission will not end until you leave the map.  You can sit in this mission for as long as you want.

Knocked out the enemy, entered the shipyard without shields, came to a complete stop.  Exited the shipyard, then the sector.

Ended a draw.    The message read: At least you took care of the Syndicate.  It would have been nice to have some intelligence on this sector.

Capture, dont destroy the enemy ship, then enter the spacedock ...  or get into the spacedock first, before engaging

Hmm ..... that necessitates the need for extra marines.     Fed usually doesn't take prisoners.

I also am scratching my head on this mission.  If it IS broken, is there a way to remove it.  Is there a way to not end in a draw.
