UPDATE on ModelsPlease

Hiya folks, as many of you know real life issues have kept me sidelined for quite sometime. Well that has come to a sad end. My mother passed away this past Saturday, I'm busy now with the funeral etc. but I hope to be back sometime next month. Take care folks I'll be lurking about till then.

You have my deepest sympathies.  Not much else I can say.

In the past 7 years I've buried a wife, a mother, and 3 grandparents.  It never gets easier.

Let yourself grieve now, while you have family and support surrounding you.  For me, it was a mistake to hold myself together and inside during that time, and then fall apart months later.. with no support.

J, sorry to hear... I buried my mom back in 1989 and I still miss her and wonder what she'd think of her grandkids, how she'd be doing now, where she'd have gone in her life by now.  For me, the thing that made it easier was being able to talk to her a week before she died and getting to tell her everything I'd ever wanted to.  I hope that you had a chance to do the same, to get to be with her, and to let her know that she had support and was loved by her family.

We'll be here when you get back.. not a worry.  :)

Lost many family members over the years it is never easy, you never really stop missing them.
You do learn to coup with it as best you can.

GOW is correct greive now with family, as time goes on after words you will feel the hurt less.

Sorry to hear that, MP. While everyone else in our lives come and go, our moms are the one constant we can rely on. When they're gone we always miss them the most. Especially sons. Of course your mom would never want her passing to be a burden on your life or your heart. Don't let it. It would be her wish. See you back here soon.
