Firefox 3.6
« on: February 07, 2010, 09:10:55 am »
http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

Definite performance improvement. It handles the oci webmap as well as chrome/iron and opera now.  :)

I backed up my bookmarks (as html), uninstalled 3.5.7, installed 3.6, imported the bookmarks (as html), deleted the old dupe default bookmarks, deleted the default news live bookmark, then hide the bookmark bar, then customise the main toolbar to small icons and voila.

Sweet. My firefox 3.5.x install was crashing a lot recently. Not sure what as causing it. Perhaps it was due to flash or noscript or something. Hopefully my 3.6 install will be more stable.

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with 3.6 so far.

I have been using 3.6 for alittle while now.  It doesn't give me too much trouble.

heck, i didn't have trouble with the 3.5.x ones. I do use 3.6 as I update to the latest version soon after it comes out.
Only in America .....do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.
