Hm, when going to sfc2net today, I get redirected to some real estate site...?!
This message is at the top:

sfc2.net expired on 06/21/2011 and is pending renewal or deletion

Decided this subject needed it's own topic to catch someone's attention asap.

This will need an inquiry with both capt Jeff and Frey I believe, I'm not sure who on sfc2 net has paid normally for domain renewal, it's also possible it's been paid just late in which case it takes a few days to revert to it again

Frey has renewed this, it will take a few days possibly for the renewal to take effect at worst.

WHile I host SFC2.net for free (I don't charge for the hosting, electrical, server maint. etc.) I don't usually pay for domain names.

However, we kinda go through this every year with this and a couple other domains. I've renewed this one (and sfciv.com

) because I know how valuable SFC2.Net is to the community. I'd like to ask the Admin team @ SFC2.net to get together and let me know how we're going to proceed from now on, however.

It's back up for me !

I do believe I'm the only remaining SFC2.NET admin left around, but I've never received notice about a domain name charge being due ! How much is it usually? While I've given over $1,000 in donations to D.Net and SFC2.NET over the years, I suppose I could try and chip in a little more, but times are a little tight. Nothing fancy I hope !
