Artifex Board Editor in Windows 7
« on: September 01, 2012, 08:50:45 pm »
Has anyone successfully used Artifex in Windows 7 to edit the campaign boards *.mvm files?

The program opens fine, but when I try to open an *.mvm file I get an error message that says "Failed to Open Document."

Thanks in advance for any tips anyone might be able to offer.

Ultimately, I'm looking to remove all the empires from the OP map and have only the Cartels. If there is another way to do that, I'm all ears.

i think you have to have empires for certain parts of the game to run smoothly, like ai pulling. It might be easier to give the empires pirate ships and models.

Thanks for the advise guys. I may do just that. I have removed empires before with no problem but didn't keep the map file long term.
