...is there any way to get these to work?

Specifically the Four Powers War

The instructions in the readmes are near non-existent, No mention is made of what specific mods if any are needed, and clearly the site is barely breathing so it's of little help.

Am I missing something "in translation" when it comes to setting these up or are they "busted" somehow.

I'm confident I can dig up anything I might need I just don't know what that might be. So far the farthest I've gotten is the opening loading screen followed by either a lockup or CTD.

Any help would be greatly appreciated even if that help is to let me know it's a lost cause.
