I suppose too since Homeworld 2, Dawn of War and Empire at War have such big modding communities we can see if they have any scripting tools that might give us ideas on how to speed this up.

Going Out of town, be back tomorrow. If any one has Lua experience please chime in.

LUA is not that easy to embed a parser etc into c++ projects.  Still looking at it.  AngetScript tool 5 minutes.  But sounds like LUA may be the best choice.  And with real game samples we can ge an idea of the best way to do this.
