I'm slacking due to the new job at Red Hat. But more activity means more reason to come back. .. Good to know you're still alive though m8

I'm busy juggling my new "instant" family.  Met a girl who had three kids, its a challenge to say the least to find any time more than shooting off a couple of quick messages, heck, time is so short I've only been able to play 2 matches of SFC in 7 months!  I still want to keep going at my story, in fact I've been writing a paragraph here, and a conversation there, but no where near the pace I've been at.  Also at about the same time, I got moved up into management which takes more of my time.  They'll come a point though where I'll get settled in with all the extra errands we've had to do to facilitate moving around, at that time, I should be able to return to writing, even if it is just on my phone while I sit on the couch watching the kids watch TV.

Quite right but to be fair Linux is only a small part of the portfolio,  I actually  technically support selling our middleware (JBoss) and we do cloud storage and  virtualization as well. But I am already happy you know us, to few people know we regularly take on the big guys like IBM Oracle Microsoft and vmware and win

I've been aware of Redhat almost from the beginning.  One of the founders is from my area.  They are also the poster boy for making money off of open source which many had claimed was impossible to do in any significant way.  An $8.84 billion market cap shows that it can be done in a big way. 

I'd love to see them partner with Valve on the Steambox.

Some of the guys on the red hat gaming list are involved somehow but I don't know the details. And if you live in the area, tell Jimmy I said hi when you see him ;)

Wrong founder.  Bob Young.  His home town and mine have merged since his birth and he owns the local foot ball team (CFL).   Never met him though and only experimented with Red Hat.
