Linux and MAC

Question, do we want this to be able to run on either LINUX or MAC?

This is important as C# code requires Mono, and Mono does not support either or 3D graphics of physics I plan to use, but now is the time to make a change.

How hard would it be to change later?  I can see compatabilty for Linux but not Mac, as programs aren't as likely to become obsolete on Linux.

C# and Mono are not exactly popular with Linux people.
