Up here the best sign of spring is the yearly opening of Gordy's Hi-Hat in Cloquet. Even an minor April Fools snow storm couldn't stop it.

We have some really good food around here. Gordy's is very good but the best burgers come from the Anchor Bar in Superior.

It's a hole in the wall bar that developed its character over a long time. The beer list is surprising for the type of place it is.
