While perusing the Axanar blog, I followed a link included in the latest installment from the guy that's building a scale model of the Ares, which led me to this photo stream...

There are  LOT of photos in this photo stream, all of them of various Star Trek models this guy has done.  Some of his designs are actually intriguing...
 

There's even a model depictingf the Enterprise after it self destructed, before it entered the atmosphere (STIII).  That probably took a bit of time to put together!

Figured some of you CG Modelers around here might appreciate this guy's work.
