Assistance needed on models

I have tons of models but have no idea relating to hot points.  Assistance would be appreciated.

What program are you using?
If you don't mind seeing all fire going to or from the center of your ship, you don't need it. Want to know a cheat? Import a model from the game similar in power and arrangement, delete the model part and move the nodes around.

Yeah, that's the trick I used in 3dsmax. You can drag and drop hardpoints, copy them, rename them and delete them. Grab a model with at least one hardpoint one it, select the hardpoints, export them to a separate file, import that file into the model you're working on and then place hardpoints wherever you want.

Btw, they need to be named correctly or they will not work.

I have 175 models, I think we are good to go.
