Looks grittier than the first. Looking forward to it. New trek trailer is up on youtube. Not planning to pay to see that in the theater.

I'm just getting to see Into Darkness on Monday since it finally made it to TV. I refused to pay to see it after the first one.

Let's see if the new one gets the moniker Star Trek: Beyond Awful.

You know, I had brought up the point with someone at work a couple weeks ago about Dr. Okun.  The Alien couldn't have broken his neck prior to the scene, because it needed him alive to communicate, and then it released him when it tried to take over the President's mind.  It didn't take the time to finish him off before the Secret Service shot the alien.
