Yes. Make cars easier to hack so terrorists, foreign powers, or all around psychos have an easier time committing mass murder.

It isn't that they are connected but that you can use wireless to get deep into the systems. The simple way to hack proof them would be to require a physical connection to do those things.

I agree with both of you. It seems like another example of where Tech has outgrown Man's wisdom. It makes me wonder, if the money being spent, wouldn't have been better suited for more driving schools across the US.
