3d modeler for sfc

This might be old news but, I came across this great modeler for sfc. It's called Ultimate Unwrap. It may be a superior alternative to Milkshape. It already has an importer, we just need to email them to convince them to make an exporter for the .mod file.

It's been a long time, but I'm fairly sure Ultimate Unwrap is a model skinning utility rather than a modelling program.  You might want to look out for gmax, which was a freeware modelling program and might be worth looking at as an alternative to milkshape, there was a .mod plugin available for it too.

I registered Ultimate Unwrap a long time ago, and it is more a convertor, but does do limited meshing.

Better off with another program to do your meshing in.. I flip between doing simple basic blockouts in Anim8or these days and them importing those basic shapes into my trusty old 3dsmax (now in a VM) to do the final work.
..ooOOoo..totally useless information..ooOOoo..
