We aren't using a mod, unless you consider the new maps I've made, lol.

Seriously, we are running a straight up stock server upgraded to the 531 build. No LOS (at this time) even. No extra ships. Just old-fashioned, right out of the box (plus patches) game. I make the maps the same size as the really long gone Activision Server A (lots of room to play that way).

Keeping it simple cause I can't handle anything complicated. Just ask Gman

I've been hanging out at Alternate B as well.

Nice mix of new people and old vets. Back to basics feel. Tons of PvP.

If you want to go retro and play on a server the way the original Activision B should have been...this is the place.

You guys have done a great job with this server. Keep it up! Its really needed for the people that cant download all these huge mods, and will encourage more players to play this thing out of the box.

Strange, I can't see the "Alternate B" server anymore... Crashed? Updating? Please bring it back up! I like the normal game without mods

My guess is it crashed. I've been at work all day, but the 7AM reboot should have brought it back on line.

I think Garreth is traveling this week so I'll answer your question. Anyone is welcome on Eudoxia and Garreths server (Alternate B). You do not have to be a member of a fleet. Stop in, but remember their most important server rule:

at least a gallon...maybe bigger

what i really need right now besides the drink is a phone line to run from my hotel room down to the beach...about 200 yards. that way i could blow something up while getting trashed
