Simply wonderful!

What shall her class be named...

Perhaps one of these:

Vesuvius
Venture
Gladiator
Odysseus
Glory
Magnificence
Superior

Just some brainstorming ideas to start you off...

well i should note that all i've done so far is apply a smooth to the mesh (which doesn't transfer to well to mod) so this weekend i will start smoothing her manually (oh fun lol)

Personally I dig it.But if you are going for a "In the design line " look, redesign the saucer, get rid of the hole in the center. If we assume that the Ent J is that holographic image on Enterprise then I would think the Ent G model ,since it's about halfway between E and J perhaps it should look like a hybrid of the 2..... A flatter wider Sovie saucer/ maybe a thinner shorter secondary hull and a set of hybrid narcells.
1) Monarch Class
2) Legacy Class
3) Heritage Class
4) ENDURANCE CLASS

I think something more along this line would be a better candidate for the Ent G.
Maybe this new ship of yours could be the  Soulwolf G ?
My $.02

maybe use some Latin-

"Semper Valebo"-should be translated as "I will always be strong"

Semper Valebo Class, could be,sounds more Romulan tho

Looks alright, except for that freaky hole in the saucer. God, that's just silly. I mean, unless it's gonna be used as a obstacle course for cadets to fly trainers through......

Azel/Atolm, buddy, I love your designs.....BUT....I don't think the hole is workin. I think maybe a recessed area would be appropriate, but like someone said, is that going to be used for training purposes? Threading the needle?

Lose, er, filll the hole and then you will have perfection.

Or reverse the saucer so the front part is open and attach. But that might look worse....don't listen to me. But fill the hole.

Please?

I thought of a few more possible class names this evening:

Resplendent
Demeter
Jubilant

Also, (not a critique-rather an observation/opinion) this design has more of a resemblance to the ships of the 30th century Soulwolf Era. It seems that this G incarnation arrives too soon in the lineage and would more likely appear after the 26th century Enterprise J perhaps.

Instead of altering this design (as I think its wonderful) maybe another similar ship could be made. Two differences I suggest would be to (1) fill in the primary saucer and (2) slide the nacelles back so that they connect near their fronts rather than the back, giving it a more "Sovereign" look and the appearance of being "fast" like the "E'' incarantion. A third alteration could be reducing the height of the neck, again to show more resemblence to the "E".

Just some ways to make her look like a further refinement/evolution of the Enterprise lineage.  Just my .02

But don't anything to the version you have now! It's too cool!

well two things i picked up when a saw her were one the similarities between it and the galaxy (naccels, saucer, neck) and the connie (pylons, overal height of the naccels and pylons)

OK do you guys Remember the 1701-F???
That is the original Soulwolf...That is what I am chasing to surpass
Not the J
As far as I am concern..all ships and planes go through an era or 2 that tries something new
the purpose of this is to think outside of the box...to test new ideas
look at the WW2 German aircraft designs...all of those ideas where made...some where very very
radical( totall asymetrical designs for example or manned cruise rockets)...
but without them...the jet engine would might not have ever be born
same goes for Steath tech...look at the F/A-117 Nighthawk vs the new F-22 Raptor and F-35 JSF
the Nighthawk looks nothing like its sucessors...but it was made

Not all the time must things be taken in baby steps...or the next "logical" step...sometimes the situation arises
where as the design will and must become radical to suite a particular situation

As always I thank you guys for your comments, opinions and Support
Just thought that you should know why I designed the ship the way that I did

Thanks

BTW keep those Names going

I think that the design looks physically balanced the way that it is. If the saucer was filled in then, IMO, to keep it balanced it would also have to be set back more to bring the CG into line and possibly move the nacelles as well. To me, it seems to work well like it is. Just my .02

I didn't realize the Soulwolf didn't start out as a ship of it's own,I actually had to go and look at it in my model viewer,Funny how I never noticed that lil ncc 1701 f  .Anyway, I actually like it better as a stand alone vessel ( which is now getting it's very own lineage ) Enterprise / Excelsior / Miranda /  Soulwolf   .That's my lil take on it.I hope you don't mind Azel sir. Dare I restate  Soulwolf G  for this ship

Nice ship. Looks like the FASA version of the Andorians won the design contest

Tus, are you working on any non-Federation ships?
