I was just thinking that makes alot of sense because in the ending of the Dom Wars, Worf becamse Ambassador to Qo'Nos, the defiant was left behind to the station for defense purposes, but in First Contact, worf was commanding, therefore it had to be sometimes before the ending to the dom wars, the only thing i was wondering about was why we never saw a Sovereign in any of the battle scenes in Dom Wars DS9, but hey,  i think your right

I don't know about timelines, but as far as the absence of the Sovereign Class, it was decided by Rick Berman that the class was to be reserved to the feature films in order to keep it "special", i.e. a "movie star" of sorts.

You could look at the uniforms.  The DS9 crew didn't get the new uniforms till the episode "Begotten" (can't spell).  This was i think a month or two after first contact came out because I remember wondering when they would get the new uniforms.  So i figure (and i have nothing but logical reasoning to prove this) that First Contact happened before the war started, but after that episode.  Pretty much because of the unifrom thing it had to have happened after Begotten and I doubt Starfleet could have spared that many ships to fight a cube and still win the war while it was going on.

Also if the enterprise had "been in space for nearly a year" then it had to have been more than a year since Generations since Starfleet wouldn't want to be without its flagship for too long.  Depending on how much time passes between the destruction of the enterprise D and Worf going to DS9 (since they hadn't built the new one yet) you can pretty much figure First Contact happened a more than a year after "Way of the Warrior."  So I'm thinking about a year and a half between the destruction of the Enterprise D and First Contact, which would place it somewhere in the latter half of DS9's 5th season.

Feel free to punch holes in this theory of course cause it is just a theory.

A quote, just before the Dominion comes through the Wormhole ("In Purgatory's Shadow"), Kira asks Sisko at a staff meeting why Starfleet cant reinforce their position against any fleet that might come through, Sisko replies:

"Between the Klingon War and the recent Borg attack, Starfleet's stretched pretty thin".

This happened in late 2373- middle-late 5th season of Deep Space 9, which also matches the First Contact stardate (50893.5, around October-November 2373), but before the start of the Dominion War (in A Call to Arms- at the end of 2373).

Didn't the Klingon war take place before the destruction of the Ent D ? Could that recent Borg attack mentioned there be the one where Picard was assimulated?

And another beg for a modeller for the Titan.Sandman is right we do need a begging Graemlin.
