Tweaking Wolfsglen's Chicago FNCA, and using it as a starting point for other models, I have prepared these models. Wanderer provided the textures for the different classes. (Big Thanks there, both of you.)

1- FNCA Chicago:   http://klingon.stasis.ca/models/federation/fnca.zip
Tweaks: Sensor dome adjusted. Registry # fixed.

2- FNCF Manta Ray -- New Fast Cruiser:  http://klingon.stasis.ca/models/federation/fs_fncf.zip

3- FNCL Repulse - (New) Light Cruiser:  http://klingon.stasis.ca/models/federation/fs_fncl.zip

4- FNCD Azov - New Light Drone Cruiser:   http://klingon.stasis.ca/models/federation/fs_fncd.zip

Coming Soon:

F-NDC - Crecy - New Heavy Drone Cruiser
F-NSC - NCC-2001 USS Discovery - New Scout Cruiser
F-NHS - NCC-2001 USS Discovery? NCC-2002 Santa Maria? - New Heavy Scout Cruiser   (both were upgraded from the F-NSC)
.. more.. ?

Wanderer: I think we're just beginning, here. I have a LOT of work for you if you're willing. No hurry, and no pressure: remember that.

Add to wishlist:

F-NSC - NCC-2001 USS Discovery - New Scout Cruiser
F-NHS - NCC-2001 USS Discovery? NCC-2002 Santa Maria? - New Heavy Scout Cruiser (both were upgraded from the F-NSC .. could use same for both)
F-LTT - Hoffa  (registry unknown)
F-NAC - 1564 Hoerner
F-NSR - Ibn Babuta

.. and then there's carriers..

Thanks for the models FireSoul. Isn't it kind of ironic to have these wartime ships cranked out so quickly. We've had something like 8 or so NCL, NCA, and now NCF releases. It's almost like the General War is on.

GW part 2 starts as soon as RDSL finishes (no Feds on that server though).

Would it be possible to have a carrier variant(s) done? The extra space afforded by the rear hull from the NCA on the NCL might be able to be tweaked, or maybe just textured?

The fighters on the NVS and NCV are housed in the saucer.

Yes, it's in the saucer. The CVP would also benefit from such a texture.

Cool! I've collected these to add to the Chicago NCA/NCL folder. Therefor I just wanted to say thanks for sharing these.

Now if only someone would take up the cause of a proper F-HDW. I'm using the phase 2 from Fleetdock13 myself but it doesn't compare favorably with all of the other pretty Fed models. It would make a good starting point as an LOD2 model though. This is just an idea of course... <cough> hint <cough>

PS. Does this qualify for model greed?
PPS. No, I don't mean you FireSoul. Youv'e done plenty as is.

A proper FHDW model would require a TMP FDW to start from, with 3 frigate engines, 6 points each.

Do you have one of those?

The closest models I have of that description are the FHDW Aidid (name?) and the FDW Ardzimba from the Fleetdock13 phase 2 pack. They look like they have the basic parts of that class of vessal in the TMP style but are just a little dated. I clipped the deflector dishes and imported some new textures but that's as much as I can do with them. Mind-Blip has a couple of others I use but to my knowledge there are no other TMP war destroyers.

You or anyone else is welcome to look at them. I'm not loosing any sleep over the issue but gee... we are almost there for having all the bases covered for the Federation. Having a proper DW & HDW would be a a nice thing.

With the Federstion shipyards operating at full wartime capacity the Coalition had better start to get a bit nervous.

Another fine addition, FS. Thanks again.
